OUR PROGRAMS
Apprentice Choir
Grades 2 - 5
Tuesdays from 5:30pm - 7:00pm
$70/month
Apprentice Choir is the beginning phase of the multi-level music education and singing program of Florida Singing Sons.
The Apprentice Choir rehearses each week to learn repertoire from well-known classical selections to crossover music to choral arrangements of classic popular pieces. Choristers also learn the basics of music theory, sight-singing, and vocal production while they have fun and make new friends. Spring Camp and concert performances complete the Apprentice Choir experience.
Concert Choir
Musically Advanced treble voices
Tuesdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm
$120/month
The Concert Choir is the pinnacle of years of intensive music study, featuring choristers selected for their exceptional vocal ability, discipline, and dedication. These advanced musicians continue to study music theory, sight singing, and vocal production at a professional level. They rehearse twice weekly, both as a treble choir and in combination with the Second Generation Singers for SATB repertoire. Featured prominently in Florida Singing Sons concerts, the Concert Choir also participates in camps to hone their skills and build camaraderie. Each summer, they join the Second Generation Singers on a tour, showcasing their talents on a broader stage.
Second Generation
All MATURED voices
Wednesdays from 6:00pm - 8:30pm
$110/month
When the angelic voices of Concert Choir deepen, members with changed voices are promoted to Second Generation Singers. This unique, all-male ensemble, primarily composed of high school students, upholds the tradition of exceptional choral singing. These maturing choristers continue their rigorous music training, performing with poise, confidence, artistry, and power, ensuring the legacy of great choral music.
