Message from the President

Welcome to our 2024-2025 season! We are grateful for your presence at our holiday performance and genuinely hope you enjoy all our planned performances this season. Daniel Bates, our Artistic Director, and our artistic team have been working diligently to showcase the beautiful voices of our young singers as they perform classical music along with beloved holiday songs.

Reflecting on the last ten years and the great traditions of Florida Singing Sons, I am grateful for the many moments and experiences we’ve shared. I think about the simple joy on my son’s face when I picked him up from rehearsal, the quiet confidence this organization has instilled in him, and seeing him graduate fully prepared to follow his dreams.

What does FSS mean to you and your family? Does it signify making lifelong friendships? Is it the special bond created through our shared passion for music? Or perhaps the adventures enjoyed during our summer tours? Each of us has our reasons for loving and supporting this organization. Thank you for being here with us and experiencing what it truly means to be part of FSS.

As president of this organization, I am honored to serve our community, our artistic staff, and our choristers. Whether you are a newcomer, a donor, a family member, a current chorister, or an alumnus, you are all part of our family and our mission. I look forward to continuing our excellent work to keep this organization vibrant and thriving.

Thank you for all your support. Our journey continues, and our dream lives on. All of us at Florida Singing Sons family look forward to your continued involvement!

Music does bring people together. It allows us to experience the same emotions. People everywhere are the same in heart and spirit. No matter what language we speak, what color we are, The form of our politics or the expression of our love and our faith, music proves: We are the same.”
