Message from the President
Welcome to our 2023 - 2024 Season. Thank you for joining us and our holiday performance. We hope you enjoy all our performances this season. Daniel Bates, our Artistic Director, and our artistic team have been working hard to bring classical music to your hearts and minds. Thank you for being so supportive of our organization. Our organization exists and thrives on our community coming together, focused on providing music education and music experiences for our youth in South Florida. The support and commitment from our community have enabled us to survive and thrive as a premier non-profit organization delivering life-changing experiences for our youth. Your impact, along with those who came before you, are immeasurable.
Florida Singing Sons is entering its 49th season as an accomplished Boychoir with a rich history of choral music and performances throughout the U.S. and internationally. In our 2022-2023 season, we launched Chorale Soleil, an ensemble of high school students of all genders. Our mission is to carry on this tradition of providing musical excellence to our youth.
Our dedicated board of directors and choir parents are the stewards of our organization. I ask you to help me honor them for their hard work keeping our organization healthy. We appreciate their leadership in giving our choristers the best experience at each rehearsal. Their vision has created a strong foundation to deliver our mission while positioning our organization for future growth.
I am honored to serve you, our community, our artistic staff, and our choristers as President of this organization. Whether you are just joining us, a donor, a family, a current chorister, or an alumnus, you are part of our family and our mission. I look forward to continuing our good work to keep this organization healthy and alive.
We have several initiatives identified to take our organization into the future that will require time and money. Our performances and operations require many expenses, including artistic staff, rehearsal facilities, digital marketing, on-site presentations, and technology platforms. I hope you consider all it takes to make our organization successful and find a way to do your part. So, with your help, our journey continues, and our dream lives on.
