Florida Singing Sons to Perform in War Requiem

Florida Singing Sons is honored to be part of an extraordinary performance of Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem alongside the Master Chorale of South Florida, the Girl Choir of South Florida, and the New World Symphony, under the baton of renowned conductor Stéphane Denève. This powerful and deeply moving work, composed as a response to the devastation of war, combines haunting poetry with a grand orchestral and choral setting.

Our choristers will join professional musicians and vocalists in bringing Britten’s masterpiece to life, offering audiences an unforgettable musical experience. This collaboration not only showcases the talent of our young singers but also underscores the power of music to inspire reflection, unity, and hope.
